Hot going into weekend

The weather is heating up across the Pee Dee. High temperatures by Friday and Saturday will be in the middle 90s. Both days will have plenty of sunshine.

Low pressure over the eastern Gulf of Mexico is being watched for possible development as it moves northeast across Florida and into the Atlantic off the southeast coast. Florida gets needed rain. Rain expected to stay south and east of here.
